A photographic journey around the North West Of England, mainly Cumbria and North Lancashire, but sometimes further afield. An ageing, but enthusiastic amateur photographer, with a very well used bus pass, however, occasionally travelling by train or car. Please Note: None of the images are digitally enhanced in any way - what you see is what I see.

Ribble Bus Preservation Trust Running Day: Carnforth
The annual Ribble Preservation Trust Running Day took place in May. A selection of vehicles operated a regular service from Heysham Village to Carnforth via Morecambe. This selection show the scenes at Carnforth Haws Hill.
As can be seen it wasn't just Ribble vehicles on show. This decker is ex-Lytham St. Annes Corporation.
It was pouring down with rain when I took this photo!
