A photographic journey around the North West Of England, mainly Cumbria and North Lancashire, but sometimes further afield. An ageing, but enthusiastic amateur photographer, with a very well used bus pass, however, occasionally travelling by train or car. Please Note: None of the images are digitally enhanced in any way - what you see is what I see.

Warkworth Castle & VIllage
The Northumbrian village of Warkworth is dominated by its castle, which was first documented in a charter dated 1157-1164, when King Henry the Second granted it to Roger Fitz Richard. All images in this series were taken by Mooncat755.
