A photographic journey around the North West Of England, mainly Cumbria and North Lancashire, but sometimes further afield. An ageing, but enthusiastic amateur photographer, with a very well used bus pass, however, occasionally travelling by train or car. Please Note: None of the images are digitally enhanced in any way - what you see is what I see.

Skipton: Leeds-Liverpool Canal: Part 1 of 2
Skipton is a great place for canalside photography. There are always lots of narrowboats, of varying sizes. and plenty of colour as well. This set of photo's were taken a few weeks ago, and as per usual the canal basin was very busy.
One of the larger passenger cruise boats used for trips along the canal.
Reflections.
Unusual boat for the sale of teas and coffees etc.
