A photographic journey around the North West Of England, mainly Cumbria and North Lancashire, but sometimes further afield. An ageing, but enthusiastic amateur photographer, with a very well used bus pass, however, occasionally travelling by train or car. Please Note: None of the images are digitally enhanced in any way - what you see is what I see.

Skipton: Leeds-Liverpool Canal: Part 1 of 3
Rosie and Jim moored on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal which flows through the North Yorkshire market town of Skipton. There is always plenty of activity and narrowboats to be seen which makes it a great place for photography.
The busy main basin at Skipton.

There were several narrowboats to be seen on this section of the Canal.
