Barton Grange Garden Centre

Although Barton Grange is a Garden Centre, it is also much more than that, selling a huge range of diverse products, plus a must visit to a very good farm shop. Having featured Barton Grange on North West Images earlier this year, I concentrated on some of the more unusual items.

Waterhead

'Tern' which is over 100 years old, arriving at Waterhead Pier, with passengers from Lakeside and Bowness.

What a difference form a few weeks ago when Waterhead was packed with visitors and tourists. 

Lake Windermere had a very calm look. Clouds building toward the south.

Freckleton

The village of Freckleton, renowned for its floral displays, is located between Preston and Lytham.

Kendal

One of the many alleys in Kendal town centre, although this one is called Chapel Lane. Sadly the wall has become a target for graffiti.

It's 135 miles from the Highgate Hotel, Kendal to Edinburgh.

The former Zion Chapel., which dates from 1898. It is now now known as the Kendal United Reformed Church.

Filming was taking place in Highgate and the pavement was partly blocked.. A London-based production company were making a comedy programme for television.
