Woodwell - Silverdale - Woodwell Circular Walk: Part 1 of 3

There are numerous woodland paths in the Silverdale area (near Carnforth). This is just one of them, a circular walk that takes you to Woodwell, and the village of Silverdale. The start of the walk and into the woodland.
Entrance to the path - not for large people!!!
Heading for Woodwell Cliff.
Following the path through the woodland.

The end of the wooded section, for now.
A quiet spot and a secluded cottage.
As can be seen, the path is easy walking.
The pool fed by Woodwell.
A close up of Woodwell. It was in a dark location, so very difficult to obtain a clear photo.
Woodwell Cliff in the back ground.
You can actually scramble up the cliff to reach a path at the top. However, being a wimp as far as heights are concerned, this was a totally stupid idea. I took the easy path toward Silverdale, as you will see in part two of the walk tomorrow.
