A Walk Around Silverdale

A much longer set of photographs than normal, covering a walk around the village of Silverdale. I caught the bus from Carnforth and alighted at Bottoms Lane.
Now a private residence, this building was formerly a Church.

Arnside in two different directions!
The War Memorial.

As I am nearly 6' tall, I should be OK if I lie down across this lane!!
The village church.

Colourful floral display.
Silverdale Fire Station.

Flowers in the window.

The village hall.

What a sorry state the long closed Royal Hotel is in. A bit of an eyesore for the village.
Plans have been rumbling on for quite some time for the Royal Hotel site.
The Silverdale News shop.

The Millennium clock.
Silverdale Post Office.
