A return visit to one of my favourite photographic locations in Lancaster, alongside the canal. The narrowboat is pictured heading north along the Lancaster Canal. |

The narrowboat 'Broad Oak' was about to leave its moorings and head south. |

There seemed to be fewer boats moored than usual. This one is called 'Magdalen.' |

I liked the figure on the roof of the boat. |
It was not good news for 'Plodder' which had just been towed to this mooring. I assume there had been an engine failure of some sort. |
