Longframlington: Church Of St. Mary

The former pit village of Longframlington in Northumberland, is situated five miles south east of Rothbury. The photo above is of the main road through the village. All photo's in this series are taken by Mooncat755.
The Church of St. Mary dates from the late 12th century. It was carefully restored in the late 19th century, retaining the Norman chancel arch.

This proved to be a small but very welcoming Church. Our photographer was even offered a cup of tea whilst there!
