Windermere: Ferry Landing

The Windermere Ferry Landing, or Ferry House as it is sometimes called, is located on the west side of the lake. There are in fact two ferries in the summer months, the regular car and pedestrian ferry, seen having arrived above, plus a launch service which operates direct to Bowness Pier. The car and pedestrian ferry operates all year round.
The launch service is almost ready to leave for Bowness.
A few cycles ready to be taken on the car ferry.
Looking north along Lake Windermere.
Another launch arrives.
Passing by. Can you just spot the dog sat in the dinghy being towed?
One of the regular round the islands cruises from Bowness.

Sheltered anchorage.
There is a small creek adjacent to the Ferry Landing.

The car and pedestrian ferry has just left the other side of Windermere.
Getting closer.
Almost here.
