Cragside: Part 1 of 2

By the lake at Cragside, near the Northumbrian town of Rothbury, with smoke rising in the distance. Cragside House and gardens was the family home of Lord Armstrong, who was a Victorian inventor and industrialist. Cragside was the first building in the world to be lit by hydroelectricity. 1. Nice photos of Cragside! It's an interesting place and the house is interesting too. I think the best time to visit though is when the Rhododendrons are in bloom.....it's really pretty.
