Far Sawrey To Windermere Ferry Walk: Part 1 of 2

It was a perfect sunny day when I undertook this walk from Far Sawrey to the Windermere Ferry.  If you walk it in the opposite direction, beware of a very long, steep hill up from the ferry landing, hence my choice to go downhill!!
It is a combination of road, path and woodland walking.
Some good Lake District scenery as well.
A reasonable walk from the village is Far Sawrey Church.
A closer look. St.Peter's Church was built in 1869 by London architect, Robert Brass.

A pleasant footpath to walk along and I never saw another person. Out on my own.

The first view of Lake Windermere.

Entering the woodland section of the walk.
