Bowness in Winter: Part 1 of 3

A visit to an almost deserted Bowness earlier today. Just as I took this photo, look what flew from left to right!
One of the jetties at Bowness Pier. 
There were very few folk around, which is in complete contrast to the summer months when Bowness is 'invaded' by day trippers and tourists. 
Lake Windermere looked very cold.

You can just see the snow on the mountain tops in the distance. 
As can be seen, Bowness was very, very quiet.
