Grasmere

Sarah Nelson's Grasmere Gingerbread shop. You can hardly get in the place in the tourist season, such are the queues for gingerbread. However, it's worth the wait.

St Oswald's Church, looking at it from the Grasmere Garden Village,

Another view St. Oswald's church, which is famous for being the resting place of  poet and writer, William Wordsworth, and several of his family.

Good to note that there is still a book shop in Grasmere.  This one, as it states over the door, is Sam Read, bookseller.

Now which way do we go?

Taffy Thomas, renowned Lake District storyteller, whom I first saw over 20 years ago when he was at the Sidmouth Folk Festival in Devon. Taffy lives in Grasmere and has a storytellers garden next to his house.
