Dallam Park

Dallam Tower Estate and Park is near Milnthorpe. There are several paths across the 190 acre Park.
The River Bela flows through the Park.

A quartet of residents.
Dallam Tower. The house is a mixture of 17th and 18th century constuction, although it was extensively remodelled in the 19th century. Not generally open to the public, some of the interior panelling is by Gillow of Lancaster.
Fallow Stags. (*)
These were across the other side of the River Bela, so the camera zoom came in useful. (*)
Just gliding by.

Grazing in the Park.

Closer look at Dallam Tower. Former residents have included two former Members of Parliament for Westmorland - Daniel Wilson (1680-1754) and his son Edward Wilson (1719-1764).
The River Bela winds its way through the Park.
