Cromarty

Cromarty is my favourite place on the Black Isle. This view looks across the bay to Invergordon where one of the giant oil rigs can be seen.
In the other direction, the two headlands are known as The Sutors.
The harbour in Cromarty, which was once a thriving port.
The old brewery.

One of several paths down to the shore.
Leave your boots here.
This grand looking building is the former courthouse.

This weekend, is the Crime Thrillers Weekend.
The Masonic Lodge
