Alnwick Castle: Part 1 of 2

Alnwick Castle is the seat of the Duke of Northumberland. It was built following the Norman Conquest and renovated and remodelled several times. It is a Grade 1 listed building. All the images in this series were taken by Mooncat755.

  1. Lovely photos of Alnwick Castle! Did Lynda not go inside the castle? It's well worth a visit. I hope that they still do a Medieval Festival in the town? They used to do it every year and I remember visiting the festival once or twice in my childhood. I love Alnwick!
