Inverness City Centre

Bridge over the River Ness, which was 'running' very high after a few days of rain.
On the banks of the Ness.
Everyone, including me, takes a photo of Inverness Castle. Although the present castle was built in 1836, there has been a fortified structure on this site to defend Inverness since the 11th century.
Independent Scotland. A Poster for the 'Yes' campaign.
The Mercat Cross.
Closer look at the Unicorn.
Statue erected to commemorate the 79th The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.

A melancholy guitar. Spotted, abandoned, in an alleyway. (Pic - Mooncat755).

St. Mary's Church.
The Columba Hotel on the banks of the River Ness.
Eden Court Theatre and Cinema.
Paths outside the Eden Theatre.
Balls. Again outside the Eden Theatre.
This building on Culduthel Road, is known as the Ardkeen Tower. It was dated 1834 (see image below), and used to house the Inverness Juvenile Female School.
