A Stroll Around Morecambe

A sunny morning in Morecambe. A view across the bay, with the tide very much out!
A deserted beach, but it was mid-morning on a weekday.
The clock tower.
Unusual combination. Cafe and vintage clothing.
I never did see anyone using a deck chair.
The Eric Morecambe statue.
Morecambe war memorial.
A travelling fair had just arrived in town. Setting up.

The  Royal Natonal Lifeboat Institute building and shop.
This is also a Lifeboat building and shop, but houses the Hovercraft used to skim across the treacherous sands of Morecambe Bay.
Boats moored on the Stone Jetty.
Lancaster in Morecambe!
Nice view across the bay for this puffin.
Looking pretty fed up with life.
Sat out in the sunshine. The Stone Jetty Cafe.

At the end of the jetty looking across the bay to Grange-Over-Sands.
This sign is a fairly recent 'addition' at the end of the jetty, now known as 'Trafalger Point,' although I cannot see many locals calling it anything other than the Stone Jetty.
Nice day for a spot of fishing. I wonder if they noticed the tide was out?
The art deco curves of The Midland Hotel.
