Nairn: The Maggot & Harbour

Whenever we are in the Inverness area we tend to visit the town of Nairn. On this occasion, however, we decided to walk to an area known as The Maggot (which the 'delightful' name of a stream that flows into the river), and on to the harbour, before returning via Fishertown.
Along the river toward the harbour area in the far distance.
Merryton Bridge.
Swans and family.
An unusually designed seat, where we sat awhile.
Nairn harbour.
Nairn used to be an extremely busy fishing port, but now it is used for leisure and sailing.

Overlooking the harbour is the Nairn Sailing Club.

Watch out for the Whales and the Dolphins!
We returned to the town via an area known as Fishertown.
A gathering.
This unusual building was the Brackla Hotel in Fishertown.
