Rydal To Grasmere Walk: Part 6 of 6

The final part of the walk as I got ever nearer to the village of Grasmere.
A great view over the lake, but too cold to sit there!

The path curves away from the lake and involves a little lane walking to Grasmere village, but there are still some great views to be had.

Royal Mail postbox on the front wall of this property. Note the sandbags.
Although walking downhill tto Grasmere village via the lane, the views are still there to be admired.

A twisted tree.

Almost in the village and someone has a bonfire burning.
The end of a very enjoyable walk, and a great place for liquid refreshment.
