A set of images of Ullswater that I took from the bus, when travelling between Windermere and Penrith. |
Ullswater is the second largest lake in the Lake District, being almost 9 miles long. |
The road from Glenridding to Penrith follows the west shore of Ullswater for quite a distance. |
Some cloud building up over Ullswater. |
That water looks cold! |
Towards the northern end of Ullswater. |
A view across to the east side of Ullswater. |
The bus journey is well worth making as it also climbs over the Kirkstone Pass as well before reaching Ullswater. |
