| Sarah Nelson's Grasmere Gingerbread shop. You can hardly get in the place in the tourist season, such are the queues for gingerbread. However, it's worth the wait. |

| Taffy Thomas, renowned Lake District storyteller, whom I first saw over 20 years ago when he was at the Sidmouth Folk Festival in Devon. Taffy lives in Grasmere and has a storytellers garden next to his house. |
