Manchester City Centre: Part 2 of 3

Manchester Town Hall. The building was completed in 1867.

The William Gladstone statue. Gladstone was Prime Minister on four separate occasions.

The Oliver Heywood statue. Heywood sponsored many philanthropic causes in the Manchester area.

The John Bright statue. Bright was a British radical and Liberal statesman. A great orator,  was a member of Parliament between 1843 and 1889. 

Northern Assurance Buildings. Built in 1902.

Time for a beer at The Waterhouse. 
Manchester Art Gallery. A Grade 1 listed building, dating from 1824.
