Croston: Part 2 of 2

An attractive thatched cottage in the village.
The iconic red telephone box was in someone's garden.
A view looking back towards the centre of the village.

A substantial building that has been converted into a large residence.

In a shop window.
Croston village cross.
Formerly the village blacksmith.
St. Michael's Church.

Croston Old School, which adjoins the churchyard area, is a Grade 2 listed building, which was built in 1660. It was rebuilt in 1827 (see image below). No longer a a school, it is now used as a community resource centre.

There are some unusual sculptures of figures in the churchyard.
