Rydal To Ambleside Walk: Part 3 of 3

Missed it!
Part of the Ambleside showground.
You follow the beck along this part of the walk.

Almost at the end of the walk before reaching the main road into Ambleside.

Another local.

My sort of speed!

Children's play area, for trainee Tarzans.
The end of the path, before reaching the main road.
There are still some good views from the busy road.

Rydal To Ambleside Walk: Part 2 of 2

Continuing the walk from Rydal to Ambleside. As can be seen the path is easy to follow.
There are a lot of trees in this section of the walk.
The Lake District countryside.

I hardly saw anyone on the walk.

There were several sheep to be seen though.
A tree trunk that has been here for some time by the look of it.

Looking back towards Rydal.

A lone jogger.

"What's he looking at?"

Rydal To Ambleside Walk: Part 1 of 3

The start of the walk at Rydal entails a steady climb uphill. As can be seen this is a popular area, judging by the number of parked cars.
Looking the other way and the Rydal Lodge Hotel.
A cottage on the hill.
Delightful setting of Rydal Church.

Just a small part of the well kept churchyard.

Taking a right turn in the grounds of Rydal Hall.

Following the path to Ambleside.
Waterfall at Rydal.

A cluster of cottages.
A wood sculpture.
Along the tree lined path.
Two walkers going in the opposite direction to me.
