| Cockshott Point is a short walk from Bowness Pier. There are plenty of photographic opportunities alongside Lake Windermere, especially if the weather is as good as it was on this particular day. |

| Forget all the hustle and bustle of holidaymakers in the summer months at nearby Bowness itself, this is much more tranquil location. |
