Grange Over Sands: Part 1 of 3

There was plenty of colour on show on this visit to the Ornamental Gardens in Grange Over Sands.
The higher path alongside the railway, to the left.
These photo's were taken towards the end of August this year.
Looking down on the gardens and lake.

The main part of the lake.

Back in the gardens.

Considering it was August, there were few folk about.

Kirkby Lonsdale: Part 1 of 2

This builders lorry was completely blocking the main road through Kirkby Lonsdale and we had to all get off the bus and walk from there. Needless to say the bus driver was not impressed and had to wait some time before resuming his journey, somewhat late!
It was Market Day in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Moore Enterprises stall, selling preserves, confectionary etc.
The stall on the left is selling 'hand crafted' cakes and biscuits.
Jingling Lane.
I had never seen a mobile charity shop before!!
Edge, outdoor wear shop.

This busker was a very talented guitar player.
The main shopping area in Kirkby Lonsdale.

The Green Room cafe and Hobson's Choice Antiques.
