Kendal: More Buildings of Market Place

Following on from yesterday's set of photographs, we continue our look at the buildings and shops in Market Place, Kendal.  This one is 'home' to Cumbrian Properties and the Marsden Building Society.
A little bit different from other buildings in Market Place is the 'ginnel' (alley) through to the back of it. Note there are only three windows at the upper level, as opposed to four on the first floor. I wonder if there were two rows of four at one time? The building is now used by Max Spielmann (The Photo Expert) and Food, a takeaway outlet.

Barnardo's charity shop and Market Place News. Again, note how different the windows are to the buildings adjoining left and right.

Watson and Woollard, butchers and The Green Door artists studio.
A different design again for this building, now used by the Skipton Building Society and Subway.
One of the smaller buildings in Market Place. Middleton's Home Hardware. Not sure how many people would want to know in which direction Mount Everest is though!
This building seems out of place compared to the others in Market Place. Too modern!
