Kents Bank

Kents Bank is near Grange-over-Sands, alongside Morecmabe Bay.. The well kept railway station on the line between Lancaster and Barrow is unstaffed, but it has a real countryside station feel to it.
A train calls to pick up just the one passenger on its journey to Lancaster.
In the other direction this train speeds through without stopping, heading for Barrow.
The former station buildings and Statiomasters house on a landward side. Only the centre section is now used by the railway, as a waiting area.
The only building on the Morecambe Bay side is this waiting shelter.
Take heed of the warnings. Cross Bay walks at low tide start and end here, but are led by the Queen's Guide to Morecmabe Bay, Cedric Robinson. DO NOT venture across the sands yourself!

A short walk from the station is Kents Bank Post office and shop.
