Keswick Shops

The first of two sets of images (more tomorrow) showing the many and varied Keswick shops. The first one is inevitably of an outdoor shop - of which there are many in the town - Craghills Boot Store.
Hoping for a better summer than last - Luchinis ice cream shop.
Needles and Pins. Those of you of a certain age will know why I walked away humming a song by The Searchers.
The Wild Strawberry Coffee Shop.
Another outdoor shop. There are so many of them. It does make you wonder how they all pay their way?
Mmmm .... fudge! Definitely a temptation as far as I am concerned.
John Young & Son for antiques and furnishings.
Ye Olde Friars and patiently waiting dog.
The Necessary Angel. Contemporary jewellers and fine art.
Touchwood toy shop.
More temptation - a sandwich and pie shop
What a strange combination this is! Youdales who are a newsagent and tobacconist, as well as selling fishing tackle and bait supplies. A copy of The Times and some maggots it is then.
