Lindale: Part 3 of 3

Water trough.
The main road through Lindale, looking towards the Kendal and Lancaster direction.
With a name like this, it could only be 'up north'!
Whilst the Royal Oak at the top of the village is open, the pub at the bottom of the hill, The Lindale Inn, is closed and up for sale.
The John Wilkinson Monument.  Lindale's most famous resident,  John Wilkinson, who lived in the village from 1750, helped design the world's first bridge made of iron at Ironbridge. He also designed the world's first iron boat in 1787.

Another view of the Monument.
Looking towards the village on the Grange road.
Des. Res. Handy for the bus!
Lindale Village Hall.
School Hill.
An attractive cottage.
Well Cottage complete with pump in the garden.
