Clitheroe: Part 1 of 2

A visit to the bustling Lancashire market town of Clitheroe. Looking along Castle Street.
The lower castle grounds.

The remains of Clitheroe's Norman castle.
A view from the castle and out over the local football ground.
The town museum.
The castle stands high above the town.
The mascot on his travels as per usual. Just chillin' out.
The Town War Memorial.

In memory of the Pendle Witches.
Inscription on the Witches stone.
A fine looking canine.
I have no idea what this building was originally.
Moor Lane
Woon Lane

Rose & Crown Hotel
Clitheroe Conservative Club building which dates from 1929.
A very different use for Wellington Boots, outside a shoe shop.
