Edinburgh: Princes Street Gardens: Part 2 of 3

Considering just how close you are to Princes Street, the gardens are remarkably quiet.
One of the gardeners at work.

Climbing the steps.
The garden of the former Park Lodge. Busy Princes Street is behind the trees in the background.
Another view of the Lodge.

The colours of the trees and the greenery were a delight to look at.
There was a short shower of rain at this point, as can be seen from the wet path.

Through the trees to the fountain.

Unfortunately the fountain was surrounded by these temporary railings.

Rain, what rain? Blue sky once more.
