| It was a warm and sunny day when I visited Coniston, as can be seen in this view looking along Yewdale Road. |

| Before walking to the lake, I had to be fortified with one of my favourite ales from the Coniston Brewery, namely, 'Barley Wine No.9.' At 8.5% it is to be sipped and savoured! |
