Penrith Town Centre: Part 2 of 3

Continuing the walk around Penrith town centre. 
W.H. Smith are one of the handful of household names to be found in the town centre.  
Dutch courage springs to mind. A stiff drink in the Robin Hood Inn before visiting the Dental Surgery. 
Empty casks.
As mentioned yesterday, there are some fine buildings in Penrith. Barclays Bank occupy the building on the left. 
The clock tower. Erected in 1861 to commemorate Philip Musgrave of Edenhall.



This area is known as Little Dockray.

The New Hedgehog Bookshop.
Arnison's are a long established shop in Penrith.
On the side of the Arnison's shop building.
