Bowness Town Centre

The road down to Lake Windermere. Bowness town centre is a good deal quieter at this time of the year than during the summer months.
I never did see any elephants or camels.
Now the Royalty Cinema, but formerly the Public Hall.

Spotted in the chocolate shop window.
Where was everyone?
The tree is a familiar landmark at the junction of these roads in Bowness.
St, Martin's Church. There has been a church on this site since 1203.
Part of the graveyard.

I wonder what the reaction would be if you asked to hire a Post Horse?

  1. Plenty to see here, it's good to see a building with a former use now being used as a cinema! Usually the other war around.
