Grange-Over-Sands Ornamental Gardens; Part 1 of 2

The Ornamental Gardens in Grange-over-Sands date back to 1865.
The lake is part of a flood relief system, which is why the water level rises and falls.

It is quite a peaceful place to just sit and relax at this time of the year, providing the weather is OK!
Reflections on the lake.

There is quite a large wildfowl population in the gardens and alongside the lake.

The birds look forward to the tourist season as they are always given food by them.

(Part 2 of the visit to the Ornamental Gardens will be featured tomorrow)
