A Visit To Arnside: Part 2 of 2

The path from Arnside towards Blackstone Point.
A very old and weather worn signpost.
Problem! Due the very high tide, the path was under water in front of the Coastguard station and the tide was still coming in. Blackstone Point will have to wait until another day.

Looking back from the Coastguard Station to the railway viaduct in the distance at Arnside.
The Beach Walk Cafe .... closed.

Heading back to Arnside via Ashmeadow Woodlands.

Looking out over the Kent estuary.
They must either have some very tall dogs, or very tall owners  ... see image below ......
.... The sign being at least seven foot up a tree!!!
Quite a worn plaque, but hopefully you can read it.
The Arnside end of Ashmeadow Woodlands.
High tide? Perfect. Time to cast a line for a spot of fishing.
