Fleetwood Ferry

This area of Fleetwood is not surprisingly known as Fleetwood Ferry. There is a regular all year round service across the Wyre estuary to Knott End On Sea.
The ferry sets off for the short journey to Knott End.

It fails to mention that it is just £1 for holders of the National Bus Pass.
How does one ask the ferry crew if they are in the middle of the Wyre estuary?!
The ferry arrives back at Fleetwood
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution building, which includes a shop.
In memory of those who lost their lives in the Morecambe Bay Helicopter accident in 2006.

There was no explanation as to what this represents, but I can only assume that it is a family (including dog) waving goodbye to  a loved one who sets off on a fishing trip. Fleetwood being a noted fishing port at one time.

The end of the line at Fleetwood Ferry, as a tram arrives from Starr Gate and Blackpool.
