Abbot Hall Gardens, Kendal

It's been a while since I last took a few photographs in Abbot Hall Gardens, Kendal.
It's the time of the year when colours are changing and leaves are starting to be shed.

This former drinking fountain in the gardens, which is now out of use, was designed by local historian, John F. Curwen, in 1889.
The rear of Abbot Hall.
A view of the gardens through the archway.
