A photographic journey around the North West Of England, mainly Cumbria and North Lancashire, but sometimes further afield. An ageing, but enthusiastic amateur photographer, with a very well used bus pass, however, occasionally travelling by train or car. Please Note: None of the images are digitally enhanced in any way - what you see is what I see.

Pumpkins
It's that time of the year - Halloween. Whatever happened to Samhain? Not commercial enough perhaps? Needless to say pumpkins have appeared in several shops. The first two images were taken at Hayes Garden World in Ambleside.
The images above and and below were taken at Barton Grange, which is similar to Hayes, but located near Garstang.
