Levens Hall

Having walked around Levens Park (see yesterday's set of images), it seemed like a good idea for some refreshment in the tea room at nearby Levens Hall.
Levens Hall, built in the Elizabethan era, owned by the Bagot family. (*)
Decorative flowers. (*)

Entrance to one of the side gardens.
An older part of Levens Hall.

The Bellingham Buttery - the tea room!
A look through the lattice window from inside the tea room.
Tea and cake. Best china. Very civilised. (*)
The garden outside the tea room. (*)
This would take some moving. A Very substantial bench.
This 'fellow' was on one of the walls.
A solitary leaf.
The flood marker stones. (*)

Time to leave Levens Hall, back through the main gates.
