Cromarty: Part 2 of 3

A quiet scene in Cromarty - that is so typical of the place.
Little Vennel.
Hugh Miller's cottage - see image below.

The Lydia Garden alongside Hugh Miller's cottage.

Our favourite pub in Cromarty - there are only two! - the Cromarty Arms.

Time for some liquid refreshment - Happy Chappy from the Cromarty Brewery and food - ham and cheese omelette, chips and peas. Highly recommended. In fact we went back again later in the week!
Storm clouds over Cromarty Firth.

Still looking stormy.

The former school house, now a nursery.
Over the Firth with the offshore rigs moored in Nigg visible in the distance.
The former brewery building.
