Brampton: Part 1 of 3

The busy market town of Brampton is 9 miles east of Carlisle on the road to Newcastle Upon Tyne. It has a population of around 4,000.
There are several small local shops, some with quirky names. This one is the 'Off The Wall' coffee shop, which refers to the fact that Brampton is not so far from Hadrian's Wall.

The Howard Arms. A refreshment stop was made there later in our visit to Brampton.

Oddly shaped building and shop.
Wish Strings and Co.
Daisy Chain florists.
The White Lion was to let.

A quieter corner of Brampton.
Nags Head.
This building is home to the Brampton Visitor Centre.

Fruits and Roots.
