Dingwall

We made a return visit to the town of Dingwall when on holiday in the area last month. First port of call was to the rather excellent Courtyard cafe.
A tasty bacon and scrambled egg bun, washed down with pure orange juice.
The main shopping street in Dingwall. It always seems very quiet when we go there!
With so few folk around, perhaps it is no surprise that the bar is for sale.
Always look up at a building.
Unusual architecture for the building that is home for Deas, bakers.
The Town Hall was covered in scaffolding on our previous visit to Dingwall in March. Three months later, it still is.
The main pedestrianised street again.
Dingwall Museum.

Dingwall Station, served by trains for Inverness, Wick, Thurso and the Kyle of Lochalsh.
Dingwall may only be a small town, but it does have a Scottish Premier League club - Ross County.
