Cromarty: Part 3 of 3

Having featured Little Vennel, here is his big brother.
A nice colourful scene.
Looking back at Cromarty with one of the offshore rigs towering high above the village. They really are HUGE!
Another look across the CromartyFirth to the repair yard at Nigg. (Pic - Mooncat755).
We liked the markings on this rock which had been washed ashore. (Pic- Mooncat755).
Look at the colour with the iron ore in the soil,
One of the many Vennels in Cromarty, most of which lead to the shore.
A bit too far to go. So I won't be applying.
The best bakery for miles around. A must when in Cromarty.
Down at the harbour.

The shore line by the harbour.
One man and his rod. Part of an offshore rig in the mist.

This appears almost ghost-like.

Amphibious vehicles only beyond this point.
Lighthouse Field Station.

The final view for now until we returned later in the week!
