Canal Walk: Bolton-Le-Sands To Carnforth: Part 1 of 2

It was a perfect day for a walk along part of the Lancaster Canal, joining the towpath at Bolton-Le-Sands, and continuing as far as Carnforth.

One of the many Canal over bridges.
A cruiser - 'Fair Knight.'
The Packet Boat pub in Bolton-Le-Sands, seen from the towpath.

Just fishing.

A narrowboat heading for Lancaster.
Another narrowboat passes by.
Easy walking along the towpath.

A bike and a boat.

  1. I do like canals, there's always that thought "I wonder what's around the next bend?" Some nice images here.

    1. Yes I love walking Canals, especially at this time of the year with all the vibrant colours.
