Sedbergh: The Town

The small Cumbrian town of Sedbergh is designated a 'Book Town,' due to the number of varied book retailers based there. If you like books, then you can spend quite a while browsing. The image above shows the very narrow Main Street in the shadows, where most of the town shops are found.
Main Street again. Good news for Red Squirrels.
I can thoroughly recommend the very tasty pasties from Howgills, a local baker and tea room in Main Street.
Looking in the other direction.
The shop doorway and window  caught my attention. No.86 Main Street.
A row of  cottages. Look how small the top windows are on the right hand building.
An attractive entrance to Wheelwright Cottage.
Now which way do I go?
A Sedbergh sweet shop window.
