More From Blackpool

No takers for the donkey rides, which was not surprising as it had been snowing a few minutes before.
The seagull who turned its back on the Central Pier.
One of Blackpool's many promenade 'attractions,' Madame Tussauds.
The entrance to Central Pier. The Pier was opened in May 1868.
Pony and trap rides a regular feature
The South Pier. Originally known as the Victoria Pier, it first opened on Good Friday 1893,
One for the kids (and big kids too!). Water Park.
A view of the area that the Big Dipper covers at the Pleasure Beach complex, (or the Big One as it is called).
You wouldn't get me up higher than three rungs on a ladder, let along the Big Dipper!
A Blackpool tram as a static display exhibit, and specially painted to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee last year.
